League games take place every Wednesday at 7.45pm and everyone is welcome, including beginners who will be offered helpful tuition. It’s only £5 to play and is tournament poker so you literally knock your friends out of the tournament to win. With a wee bit of practice or luck you could become a contender for the title. Yes, you could be The Old Inn Poker Champion.

Last season’s Champ, Sean Russell, won the title at the tender age of just 19 and he’s topping the league again this season.

Sean said: “Pub Poker is easy to play although maybe not so easy to win. It’s competitive but fun and not too serious. Give it a try to see if you like it. I need a proper challenger!”
